So Ween broke up today.

Bummer. You either love Ween or really hate them. Put me in the love camp. Amazingly talented once you strip away the veneer of goof and campy. Though I enjoyed that, too. Even on their Wikipedia page you get this On May 29, 2012, Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween), announced the end of Ween, saying, “It’s been a long time, 25 years. It was a good run.” Melchiondo appeared to be unaware of this, stating on his Facebook page “This is news to me, all I can say for now I guess.” So who knows, right? I hope they’re not done. But if they are, leave it to Ween to go out this way. What an orignal, wonderful duo. These Philly (New Hope, PA) boys did good. They did real good.

HA! That K2 board in the corner looks exactly like my first snowboard 15-20 years ago. Those step in bindings were super progressive at the time (~’95) but sucked as you were only connected to the board in the middle of your foot and your heel and toes were off the board leading to NO board feel at all.
